Opera Garnier in Paris

Hi everyone
thanks for stopping by today
just a very quick post, of my latest
 projects for Kaisercraft which were
on the Kaisercraft blog this week,
along with many other talented Designers.

Showcasing the latest paper collection called
"On Stage".
These papers have a very vintage feel to them,
Great for all your concert memories and school plays.
Here are my 2 layouts, I decided to scrap
the "Opera Garnier" in Paris. This theatre is such a magical place.
Inside is so amazing, so glorious and rich in colour, with reds and golds.
Charles Garnier designed it in 1861.

I have posted some other photos here at the
end of this post, if you are interested.

This place was the setting for the film and book of
"Phantom of the Opera", do you recognise it?

I bit of a project life type page, great for multi photos.

Here are some more photos of this amazing place.

the inside staircase

In side the top foyer

That's my daughter, as you can see it is
rather huge.

Foyer outside the auditorium.

Velvet boxes inside the auditorium.
I love the red and golds, so rich
and luxurious.

Until next time, have a good weekend.

Cheers xx :) Adriana

Layout & Card for Couture Creations

Hi there everyone, today I am sharing
a layout and card using
the brand new release diecut collection called

Here is my layout….."Treasure the Time"
Using the papers from Couture Creations - Vintage Rose collection

The photograph is from our recent trip to Paris - hmm sigh!!!(yes, I still
keep dreaming about this place, so many memories)

1. I started with some Kraft card stock for the background and stamped and inked the edges then added some papers from the  Vintage Rose collection in the centre of the page,  I also inked the edges of the papers, now I will be focusing in particular the
small cluster of branch with leaves that I created and placed on the bottom left of
my page.

2. Cut several leaves with the "STRAWBERRY LEAF" C0724115
and corrugated card board. I love how all the leaves have
the bubbled textures on them. Also cut 4 or 5 thin strips from the corrugated card.

3. With the Couture Creations 2 Way Glue Pen, glue
down and create a branch or twig like effect with the thin strips of card.
Then glue on leaves at each end. The Couture Creations Glue pen
are fabulous for small tiny area in which you need a bit of glue.

4. Dab some white gesso or white paint over the leaves and leave to dry.

Now you branch and leaves are ready to use for your project.

4. Adhered your photo with 2 layers of Vintage Rose collection papers and a bit of texture paste and stencil around the edges of the layout.
Also decorate some Imaginairum Designs chipboard, adding some Gltizing Glamour Glitter Glue - Gold  and Burgundy on top of these chipboards.

Also cut some  "AUTUMN LEAF"   C072411 die cut with
Vintage Rose collection paper  and inked the edges and
place them in the centre of my branch/leaf twigs, a bit of twine in the centre
and add your flower.

add the quote from theVintage Rose collection
"Treasure the Time love the Moments"

Now also using the same method with the leaves and corrugated card stock
I also created a card "Best Wishes"

Capture A Moment layout - Couture Creations

Hi there everyone, Adriana here today and I am sharing
my layout using the brand new release diecut collection called

"Hearts Ease" intricutz dies - Scrolled Tomentosa C0724310

Here is my layout......"Capture a Moment"
Using the wonderful paper collection from Couture Creations
"Vintage Rose" and one die
"Hearts Ease" intricutz dies - Scrolled Tomentosa C0724310

1. Firstly I created a background with stamps, inks, masks and paints, on
to a very plain designed paper from the Vintage Rose collection.

2. Cut one diecut of Scrolled Tomentosa C0724310
with black card stock. The great thing about this die
it cuts out a separate squared framed piece
from the centre of die cut, don't throw this away, save this piece for later.

 3. Cut die cut in half as shown.

 4. Adhere mounted photo in middle of page, and adhere cut
diecut on each end of photo.

 5. Use the centre piece of the diecut for a small photo, as shown below.

6. Ink some chipboard (from Imaginarium Designs) for title and adhere underneath photo, and
add some fuzzy cut flowers from the Vintage Rose papers
and adhere on top of page.

Mont St. Michel
France October 2014
This place was so amazing. It took about 4 hours to get
there from Paris, but it was so well worth it.
This rocky island sits in the middle of the ocean,
a bridge is the only way to and out of this place.
On this rocky island, are a few shops, hotel, houses and cemetary.
At the top is a Mont St Michel Abbey dedicated to St Michel,
There were so many steps to climb up to the Abbey,
but the view at the top was breath-taking.

Just sharing some more photos of Mont St Michel
only if you are interested.....
