Wanderlust - Kaisercraft

Hi everyone
today I am showcasing another collection for Kaisercraft

"Wanderlust" this collection is fabulous for all
your travel memories. I created a layout, card and a Mini Travel Album.
The Mini Album is an ongoing project
show casing my latest travel adventures to Italy and France.

and the mini album - THE FRONT COVER OF MINI ALBUM

inside cover lined with papers and collectables

some of my pages, there are too many to show, so I selected some.

Only if you are interested, here are some more photos of Venice…
one of my fav places and also close to my heart!

My mini album is a work in progress, I am
still adding more to it each week.
Once a week I spend about a little bit of time added
more details and photos to this album. I am nearly finished.
It is a great idea, as it keeps a record of all the amazing
things that you see on your travels.
I asked my daughter to write a few details on those captured moments cards, the ones
that you place inside the sleeves of this album,
it is her prospective on her adventures.
It's a great idea to look back on them and remember the
wonderful places you visited.

Until next time,
Cheers xx :) Adriana

"Miss Lovely" canvas for Couture Creations

Hi there everyone, Adriana here today and I am sharing
a special project I created for Couture Creations

Using the brand new release diecut collection from Couture Creations
called
"Everyday Essentials
and the only two dies I used for my Miss Lovely canvas is
the "AUTUMN LEAF"   C0724112
and flower die called  "DAISY FLOWER"  C0724131

Here is my canvas.... introducing ...."Miss Lovely"
Inspired by all the wonderful face/head projects which
are very popular at the moment.

She is so easy to create, I have a step by step tutorial
on how I created this canvas, using all the wonderful
papers, diecuts and embellishments from Couture Creations.

1. Using the Vintage Rose - Couture Creations unique papers, cut several
different squares and rectangles. Apply a medium gel to adhere these
papers to a canvas, leave to completely dry.

2. Apply white gesso over the entire canvas covered papers, leave to dry.

3. Cut an oval face shape and neck, as shown in photograph below.

4. Using different coloured inkpads and Couture Creations Sponge Dabbers

colour in your face features, outlining eyes and mouth with a fine
tipped pen.

5. When you are happy with your face, adhere your face
and neck on to the dry canvas. I slightly tilted her head to one side.

6. With Brown coloured card stock, cut some oval shaped pieces for the hair. I added
and layered a few off cuts on top of brown cardstock,
to give a bit of texture to her hair.

Cut approx. 8 to 10 "AUTUMN LEAF" C0724112 die-cuts with the
Vintage Rose papers, also cut 2 "Daisy Flower" C0724131.
Adhere and layer with other small flowers on top of your ladies head.
Cut some butterflies from Vintage Rose papers, adhere and apply some
Glitzing Glitter to wings.

7. Add some Gemstones
to the neck - to create a necklace and
around the flower head piece.

8. Stamp a sentiment on the bottom of the canvas.

9. Finish your canvas with some ink and stamps around the
edges of your canvas.

Miss Lovely - saying - Have a lovely day!!!

Thanks for looking, 'til next time.
Cheers  ADRIANA  XX

Betsy's Couture Collection

Hi everyone…it's a new month and
another paper collection for Kaisercraft

"Betsy's Couture" this collection is wonderful collection for
vintage and old world charm projects.
I created some cards - a gentleman card and a female card
and also created a layout with this collection.
I used water-colour pencils to colour in the image
and added paper ruffles at the bottom of the card.

I randomly embossed some gold embossing around the
edges of each card to give a old world charm.

This was an amazing place with the lean tower and
other old buildings. The paper has a very florentine finish
to the them. They reminded me of a book I purchased in
Florence with the paper cover.

PISA Layout

Handmade some flowers, with the papers too.

Until next time, have a great day :)
Cheers xx :) Adriana

Australian Scrapbooking Ideas Issue #30

Hi everyone.......the lastest issue of
"Australian Scrapbooking Ideas" Issue #30
is out NOW
I am very excited and fortunate to have 3 projects publishing in this issue.

Today, I will share the projects here on my blog,
but all the step by step and materials list
is in the magazine.

My commissioned and challenge was to alter recycling packaging.
I used an egg carton, Noodle box and a polystyrene takeaway container.
(ALL of them brand new)

For the first altered packaging, I started with a (6) egg carton and I
converted it into a little sewing box. I decorated with many yummy
shabby chic embellishments and also created some flowers with
egg cartons cup, more details on how to create these are
in the magazine.

Sewing BOX

I designed it to store many threads, needles and sewing ephemera.

Next, I used a Large Noodle box, and placed a fairy inside, I placed it on a stand for extra height. More details on how to make one yourself
is in the magazine.

Fairy in Garden

and my last box is a box to hold a baby gift for a baby shower
or even some takeaway cake.

"New Baby"

all the materials list and step by step instructions are in the
ASI magazine Issue 30, This issue has a bonus free gift paper pack
and many inspirational projects from many talented international designers.

Grab yourself a copy at your local scrapbooking shop or newsagent.

Until next time,
Cheers xx :) Adriana

Paris in Autumn

Hi there everyone, today and I am sharing
a my layout using only just - ONE diecut from the Couture Creations.
The brand new release diecut collection called
"Everyday Essentials" and the only one die I used for my layout is
the "AUTUMN LEAF"   C0724112

Here is my layout......"PARIS in Autumn"

and here is my step-by-step on how to create
the background and flower ..... using yes!!, just ....ONE little die....

"AUTUMN LEAF"   C0724112

First to create the unique leaf Flower...
1. Cut various coloured cardstock with the Autumn Leaf Die
(I used Core'dinations cardstock)

HINT: do not throw away the cut out pieces of the
cardstock, save these for later on.

2. Sand the edges with  couture creation sanding block and then
ink edges with Couture Creations Sponge Dabbers

3. Cut a circle out of cardstock and place three leaf diecuts around the outside edge.

4. Layer a second layer of Autumn Leaf diecut, this time
placing foam dots under each leaf.

5. With the fabulous Craft tool, Couture Creations LED Tweezers
place some Couture Creations Gemstones  C0721994
in the centre of the flower.

6. Add some Autumn leaf diecuts around the flower and
apply some Gltizing Glamour Glitter Glue - Pink.

7. Now with these off cuts from cutting the diecuts, we are going to
use these as stencils for the background.

8. Using the Couture Creations Sponge Dabbers  and inkpad
gently ink around your layout creating a field of leaves background effect.

9. Adhere your photo and also more leaf diecuts around the edges of your photo.

10. Adhere your finished Autumn Leaf flower.

I used an Imaginairum Designs Chipboard word - PARIS
inked and added some glossy accents on it.

Paris in Autumn -
I was very lucky to be able to go to Paris last year -
I was expecting the weather to be very cold, cloudy and raining,
no leaves on trees.
We visited this beautiful city at the end of September/October.
To our surprise we had glorious, sunny days,
so the photo in my layout is actually a Postcard which I purchased in Paris.

Photographed from the Pont Alexander III looking over the Siene
with the Effiel Tower in the background. Gorgeous memories :)

Thanks for looking, 'til next time.
Cheers  ADRIANA  XX
