Slide Mailer Card

Hi everyone,
I have a quick and special little project
that I have created using materials from Meg's Garden.
In particular, using a microscope slide mailer with the two slots.

Front cover

Inside

Outside cover
I made a very quick step by step on
this project.......

1. Cut out the middle of the insert of the
Microscope slider mailer

2. Prime your slide mailer
with two coats of white Gesso.
Leave to dry.

3. Apply, Wild Honey, Broken China Distress
Stains or paints. Blending the colours together,
until you are happy with the results.

4. Using Rubber stamps , apply your selected designs
with black memento ink pad. I have used
TJ Design Elements rubber stamp collection
for the outside of the folder.

For the inside I used
some Paris rubber stamps.

5. Decorate the front with metal elements and flower.

6. Cut out the vintage ladies images from the
(I cut 3 images and then glued in the centre of the slide panels, decorate with metal embellishments around the edges.
on spine of slide folder.

Cut a butterfly from the
glue on mailer as shown.

Couture Creations - "Moment to Remember"

Hello there everyone, Hope all is well......today I have created another card for
my Design Team work here at Couture Creations.

This card is created with one of the new release embossing folders
"The Marriot" embossing folder collection,
 called "Great Babette"

Here is my card "Moment to Remember".

The gorgeous clock face on the side of my card is
created with  the bottom section of the "Great Babette" embossing folder.
Here is a step by step to create the clock face embellishment on my card.

1. Adhere a piece of silver adhesive foil on to a piece of card stock and
place this inside the Great Babette embossing folder,

2. Place the Foil cardstock in a manual embossing machine, to emboss.only the clock face.

2. Apply Distress Black paint over the entire clock face.

3. With a paper towel or soft cloth, gently rub over the
entire face of the clock rubbing on raised areas,
and gently revealing the silver numbers and details of the clock.

4. Gently apply a heat gun to dry area, and cut out and adhere to your project.
I used it on the side of my card.
